Back to work, back to what I love to doโฆ connecting and growing my LinkedIn professional network and practising Career Coaching.
During the last five weeks I did the following:
โ๏ธ Successfully held a few business meetings
โโ๏ธI Disconnected 90% from social media and work and I took some time for self-reflection
โโโ๏ธI enjoyed observing people around me, and observing their emotions โ this gives me a proper description of the surroundings and helps me to analyse myself to behave accordingly
โโ๏ธNot using social media helped me to enjoy every moment of the vacation and practice mindfulness quietly
โโ๏ธI enjoyed the space of mind I made for myself and successfully created a to-do list for my first work week
โโ๏ธI was back 3 days ago and I organized my office desktop area, organized the new books I brought with me, and created lists of simple tasks to organize my mind
โโ๏ธI checked my inbox to get updates
โโ๏ธand most importantly I started to go to sleep earlier
Why I did all this because this work organization gives me a feeling of control that raises my motivation
I did all this considering leaving some space for pauses so I do not feel overwhelmed after a long break
simply this is what I did
If you want to be productive for more than just 1-2 days a week after a long break, you can easily follow your own plan to organize your time, this will help you to tune to your working rhythm smoothly
my advice to you is donโt push yourself to change your routine completely in a day.
A step-by-step approach takes more time, but it is much more stable
